Dead Man's Dawn - Senior Project
For my senior project I decided to create a zombie western called Dead Man's Dawn. The film is about two rivaling bounty hunters who must work together in order to save their saloon from a pack of zombies. I modeled and animated all assets using Maya and textured all assets using Mudbox. Enjoy!
Advanced 3D Animation - Fall '23
As a student in the Advanced 3D Animation project, I was expected to create my own projects and use advanced 3D techniques such as modeling, rigging, UV mapping, texturing, and of course, animation, to complete them. Everything has been done using Maya. Here are the projects that I completed.
Skateboarding Fails 2006
For my final project of this class, I decided to challenge myself to take up facial rigging so I could make the character speak. I modeled, rigged, and animated the character using Maya and I textured the character using Mudbox. The story is about a boy named Oliver who tries to skateboard but fails each time.
The Visitor
For my midterm project, I decided to do a sci-fi drama about a girl who encounters an alien. modeled and rigging both characters as well as the environment.
Intro to 3D Animation - Spring '23
As a student in the Intro to 3D Animation class, I was given many challenging projects. They involved modeling, rigging, texturing, and of course, animating in Maya.
The Hot Pot (Final Project)
For my final project I wanted to do a spoof of a confessional from a reality television show featuring vegetables instead of people. I modeled, rigged, and animated all of the characters. For a group of veggies, they sure do have a lot of beef! Enjoy!
Lamp Animation
The first project given was to animate a lamp using a loop, and to create a short story out of it. I decided to create grass using Xgen to give off the feeling of a vast landscape in contrast to the deep chasm. I used a skydome texture for the background. For this project, the lamp was modeled for us, then we practiced rigging it in class.
Machine Animation
For this project we were able to use items off of Turbo Squid. Both the robot and the duck were taken from Turbo Squid, and the robot was already rigged and ready for use. We were given a warehouse environment with the task to animate a short film about machinery. I created a fun little story about a robot who is determined to get his hands on a rubber duck, but it unexpectedly starts to smoke! I had to play around with Maya's smoke and fire effects for this project.
Falls End
As President of the UMBC Game Development Club, I had the privilege of creating games every year (click the button to see some of the games I have helped make!). From 2022 - 2023, I was involved with a group creating a 3D open world RPG called Falls End. I was a 3D animator in this group, here are some of the animations I made using Maya.
Here is an angry jump animation, meant to play right before the goblin attacks.
This is a standing idle animation, the goblin is just scratching himself, as goblins do.
This is another idle animation, very simple.
