Demo Reel
The following demo reel showcases an array of 2D animation work, including paper cut outs, digital animation, and charcoal animation.
Motion Graphics Class
In this class we primarily utilized After Effects to create 2D animations. I created my animations in Clip Studio Paint and edited them in After Effects.

Animation in the Physical World - Spring '23
In this class we were challenged to create animation using physical forms. This included paper-cuts outs, charcoal, a zoetrope, and stop-motion animation.
Cut-Out Animation
For this project, I decided to do a short informercial about a product that is too good to be true. I know that many products such as these come with many side effects, so I decided to focus on how that could affect someone in a comedic way.
Charcoal Animation
For this project, I decided to do something on the simpler side since I found charcoal difficult to work with. I used an eraser to create the white lines on the tree and the leaf.
Internship Work
During Summer 2022 I interned at OVFX Studios in Baltimore, MD and below are a few of the animation exercises I did. I worked with the main character, Darel, of their show Kulipari: An Army of Frogs.
I was given the task to animate a turnaround of the main character, Darel, here is the result.
I was given the task to complete a stylized walk cycle. I was mostly concerned with the way the shapes that make up his body would move together.
I was given a few keyframes with the task of drawing inbetweens, here is the result.
I was challenged to bring emotion to the character by making him attempt to pick up a heavy object.
Introduction to 2D Animation - Fall '22
This short film is about a woman who goes to great lengths in order to change herself to what she views as perfection. But the irony is that she is attempting to perfect herself with items from the junkyard, imperfect items. And in doing this she begins to corrupt not only her outside, but her inside as well.
Sound - freesound.org
This was a simple walk cycle.
And this was a rough jumping animation, just to get the idea of the movement.
And these were ball bouncing exercises, featuring a tennis ball and a bowling ball. My professor wanted us to explore how to difference in weight affects the way we animate.
